Description of the company and its activity
Urrkasting, S.L. is a commercial export office. We cover the following subcontracting fields:
- Stainless steel and bronze castings: Chemical sand moulding: maximum weight up to 1700 kg; ISO 9001:2000 certificate, TÜV Rheinland; Deutsche Bahn Certificate, Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, Bureau Veritas and Det Norske Veritas.
- Aluminium pressure die castings: Medium series; max. pressure rates: 500 t ; ISO 9001:2000
- Aluminium castings: Sand and gravity die moulding; medium series; casting boxes up to 1400 x 1000 mm; ISO 9001:2000.
- Grey and nodular cast iron: Horizontal moulding, medium and long series, maximum weight 250 kg. Casting boxes 960 x 850 and 760 x 615. ISO 9001:2000. Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas, TÜV Rheinland.
- Steel balls for industrial valves: Steel and stainless steel balls for ball valves; machined polished and honed, DN25 to DN500, 1” – 14”; balls and seat-rings for metal-seated ball valves; hollow balls for the district-heating service.
- Laser cutting: Laser cutting of steel plates (25 mm thick), stainless steel plates (15 mm thick) and aluminium plates (12 mm thick) and tubes, diameter 30 to 300 mm. -- Various machining possibilities, bar turning, CNC-turning, milling, etc.
